Subject's mutation revolves around genetics. At it's core, it seems to be able to edit genetic material it's absorbed in its similimouth. It usually proceeds by taking a fair amount of genetic material from one source, followed by a smaller amount of genetic material from one or more secondary source(s). It will then process some sort of rumination during which we theorize the DNA is unraveled and adjusted to the desired result. Once satisfied, subject will spit out (from similimouth) a gelatilous, transluscent bacterial serum, which if injested of injected, will begin to infect the recipient.

The closer the bacterial serum's DNA matches the recipient, the smoothest the transition is. In ideal cases, the serum only tweaks the few strands of DNA needed for the targeted effects. However, a there exist many conjoint genes which cannot be divorced; in other cases, the serum introduces to many changes at once, leading to drastic and uncotrollable changes in the recipients.

Subject's face's top half is completely inconguous. Instead of eyes, appendages akin to a snail's face are present; with a similimouth where the nose would be. Subject usually wears custom made goggles so protect these sentsiticve limbs. The two main tendrils are equipped with little toothed maws able to tear flesh; which is then carried to the similimouth for analysis.

Through interviews, it has been discovered that subject's coyote ears and tail are not indegenous to their physionomy, instead having grown due to injestion of genetic material from father (father had mammary glands able to produce milk which fed subject in early life)

Serum needs to be kept at 40°C and 60% humidity to remain effective.

Serum will become dormant if temperature drops below 20°C, or humidity drops below 40%. Can be reinvigorated if fed and returned to proper parameters. Serum will die if exposed to temperatures over 70°C or under -5°C.

Serum can self-replicate when in the right conditions, and fed a solution of 75% glucose, 20% starch, 3% █████████, 1% █████████, .7% █████████ and .3% █████████.
